Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, host of a TV show and actor most well-known for her role as host of the popular daily talk show The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is part of a clan that has had a lot of issues. She spent the majority of her early years caring for her younger sister Frankie with the disease of polio. While growing up, she suffered an uneasy relationship between her parents. Sheryl stated that at one moment her mother hit her father due to her proximity to him. Following her college graduation Sheryl became a military officer. Her passion was comedy.
