Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay, born on the 15th of September 1915 was raised in Ogden Utah. Born into the Mormon Church's first family Fawn McKay was able to direct her innovative literary talents and remarkable research skills to creating the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled The Only Man Knows My History. The title came from a funeral sermon given by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844 when he startled the congregation with his words: You don't know me I never told you about my heart. No one has ever known about my past. No one knows my history. Fawn (29 an age) wrote that she has been honest since the moment she made her statement the three hundred and thirty writers have stood up to the occasion. A few people have even attempted to establish a medical diagnosis. The documents aren't insufficient however they do have a lot of contradictions. It is a matter of separating the firsthand evidence from the third-party fraud and then blending Mormon and non-Mormon narratives into a mosaic of credible historical facts. This is both exciting and instructive. FawnBrodie dedicated herself to this career path. Thaddeus Stewards was the outcome from her writing and study led her to become a well-known author. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. A Personal Historiography (1974) and posthumously Richard Nixon.
